Remembering Jesse

Yesterday, June 8, our daughter Jesse would have been 40 years old. I think almost everyone reading this blog already knows that Jesse was lost in the Alaskan wilderness in February 2006. We'd like to take this opportunity to again Thank our family and friends for their loving and caring support through a very difficult time.

Every year on Memorial Day all the Huslia villagers go to the cemetery to clean up, put up new flowers and burn food for their departed loved ones. No one goes back to the cemetery again till next Memorial Day unless they have to bury someone. Orville, our son-in-law, just emailed us these pictures today and we wanted to share them with you.
