Almost Packed!

Val had his last doctor's appointment today with the cardiac surgeon, Dr. LaFuente. He was very pleased with the results of the surgery and the healing. When we were walking off the elevator early this morning down in the medical center we almost walked into Val's internist, Dr. Sheena. He took the time to chat with us for quite a few minutes and then gave us a big hug. A few minutes later on a different floor we were surprised again when we met up with Val's cardiologist, Dr. Hausknecht in the hallway. When Val was in the hospital this time his greeting to me every morning was "Good Morning Dr. Barron, how are you today?" He said it when we were in his office last week and again in the hall this morning!

The car is almost loaded and I'm not sure how I'm going to fit in what's left. We always seem to accumulate "stuff" while we're here in Houston. We are planning to leave in the morning but it won't be our usual early start.
